About Preston Cooper

With a vocal so expressive it seems to build into jaw-dropping eruptions of power and emotion, 21-year-old artist Preston Cooper represents the start of a new generation in Country Rock. The biggest voice to ever hail from the tiny town of Fredericktown, Ohio, Preston’s soulful and blues inspired vocal marks a potent force of nature in the spirit of icons like Chris Stapleton, Bob Seger, Teddy Swims and more. Picking up guitar as a high school freshman, the talented newcomer soon discovered a natural gift for singing and songwriting, opening the door to a unique creative journey. Joining the US Postal Service after graduation, Preston first found local fame as “The Singing Mailman” – walking up to 14 miles each day while belting out raw, raspy vocal runs, then clocking out to perform across the region. Hundreds of shows later, hit making legends Brad and Brett Warren discovered Preston at a Toledo songwriter’s round, and quickly recognized his once-in-a-lifetime talent. The next two years found Preston honing his skills and making trips to write and record in Nashville before making the move to Music City in 2024, wielding a high-intensity mix of raw, organic Country and edgy Alt Rock. Produced by Brett Warren and largely penned alongside The Warren Brothers (Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban), Preston delivers an initial blast of original music with his staggering new track “Weak,” that hits like a bluesy landslide of roadhouse soul and puts his radioactive vocal on full display. Meanwhile, Preston will hit the road this summer to support Riley Green’s DAMN COUNTRY MUSIC TOUR, as a promising 2025 unfolds.
